Then, I was hit with a problem...........most of these pretty, frilly, lacey dresses were made for people skinnier than I. However, I did not let that stop me. My experiences as a Lolita in Japan What happens at Lolita brand events? In my last post, I wrote from a foreigners perspective of what it is like to be a Lolita in Japan. I also briefly mentioned about going to, and participating in Lolita brand events. So you're probably thinking, what exactly happens at these events? Well, I'm going to tell you! Usually these events require you to purchase an item from the brand's store usually $35.00 value or above, in order for you to purchase a ticket at around $15.00. It's a bit expensive, however these events are popular, and therefore require you to purchase a ticket in order to secure a spot. Seems pretty reasonable........right?
