Brand In Review: Lady Sloth

Welcome to first of my review series on plus size friendly Lolita Brands. Today's brand in review is Lady Sloth (LS). I first discovered Lady Sloth back in 2014 when I first got into Lolita Fashion. At the time I was just a looker and did not buy any of her products. Fast forward to 2017, I was in Japan, Lady Sloth released a print called "Welcome to my Doll House". I loved this print for many reasons, but because I am a doll lover I could not resist getting it. Three to six months later the dress, blouse and accessories arrived in my mailbox. Since then, I have purchased three or four more of her designs.  "Welcome To My Doll House" Lady Sloth uses many different materials, ranging from chiffon, organza, polyester, cotton and etc. I'm no seamstress and not really familiar with materials, but overall wearing the materials the dress is made from, I find the garments very comfortable to wear. The origin of High Tea Hello hello, I'm back from my heitis from blogging. Life has been bust since returning from Japan three years ago!!  and among other things. However, today's post I have been wanting to write about for a long while as it is one of my favourite activities while wearing Lolita fashion, and of course I am talking about the High Tea.  “There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea.” Henry James High Tea – it’s a great way to spend time catching up with friends with, but where did the tradition of High Tea originate from? We did some research and learned all about the delicious origins of this unique tradition. Next time you drink tea and bite into a freshly baked scone, considered that the first person to do just that, did it over 150 years ago!   The origins of High Tea While in Australia we call it High Tea, in England (where the tradition originated), it is known as Afternoon Tea.
